The UW-Extension Division for Business & Entrepreneurship is proud to be included in the Wisconsin Economic Development Association‘s Leading the Way magazine for 2017.
The publication is designed to showcase problems being solved by Wisconsin’s economic development experts and support organizations.
On pages 20-21 of the magazine, you can learn about:
- How the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center Network and the Waukesha County Center for Growth partnered to help businesses start, manage and grow there.
- How Jeff Dykes accessed resources — including two of ourprograms, UW-Eau Claire SBDC and Ideadvance Seed Fund — to make his life-saving device for firefighters available through a scaled-up business, Northern Star Fire. (Altoona Fire Department to start using it soon!)
The Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA), founded in 1975, is a statewide nonprofit organization of 450-plus members dedicated to expanding Wisconsin’s economy.
