Kristi’s areas of expertise include startups, food-based businesses and businesses that can be built and sold. She has been an entrepreneur herself for over 15 years. Kristi feels her job is to save you from making some of the same mistakes she’s made and to be your advocate and cheerleader through every step of the way. She loves to lift weight off a client’s shoulders. Starting, growing and transitioning a business is stressful, often lonely, work. She loves to help people to realize they can do it.
She is a problem solver. She loves a good challenge and the opportunity to help a business owner explore options and choose the best fit for their needs. Clients who work with Kristi appreciate that she can’t always immediately know the answer, but when she doesn’t, she knows where to look for options and can help determine the pros and cons of each solution.
When not advising clients with the SBDC, Kristi is running her own businesses, gardening, cooking or reading.
